Branding and building a new wearables research network

The challenge
A brand-new academic network has to look established from day one. The POWER Network — a population-health wearables network for low-resource settings — was launching cold: no identity, no guidelines, no website, and a short runway to be ready for the researchers and partners it needed to attract.
It had to feel credible and considered the moment it went live: a coherent brand, a clear way to explain its mission and its four pillars, and a site that could grow with the network — all delivered at pace.
Our approach
We delivered the whole launch package. First the brand: a distinct visual identity and a complete set of brand guidelines, so the network has a consistent language to build on as it grows. Then the website — a dynamic, custom WordPress build that puts the network’s mission front and centre and structures its work around its four pillars: leadership development, data quality, knowledge sharing and building partnerships.
The result is fast, considered and easy for the team to run themselves — built natively, with room to add news, partners and resources as the network expands. From first brief to live site took a single month.
